BORVENA – the Organizational Intelligence company

The method

Rigor, and more than twenty years of it.

Borvena combines current, proven methods with extensive experience in leadership, team and organizational development. The aim is not to create the appearance of precision. It is to produce evidence leaders can inspect, interpret and use.

Principles

How the evidence
is designed and read.

  1. 01

Begin with a real organizational question

Measurement starts with the decision the organization needs to make. The question defines the evidence required, the people who should contribute and the level at which results can be interpreted responsibly.

  2. 02

    Keep constructs clear

Each instrument or imported source must have a defined meaning. Measures are not treated as interchangeable because they use similar language. Definitions, context, response method and time window remain visible.

  3. 03

    Use multiple perspectives with purpose

Self-report, observed behaviour, team experience and organizational data can illuminate different parts of the same pattern. More evidence is not automatically better. Each source must add a distinct and decision-relevant perspective.

  4. 04

Read across levels without collapsing them

Individual, team and organization are connected but not interchangeable. Borvena preserves the level of each signal, then interprets how the levels reinforce or contradict one another.

  5. 05

    Follow movement over time

A baseline describes the starting pattern. Pulse and re-assessment show trajectory. This distinguishes a temporary response from a developing change in how the organization operates.

  6. 06

    Keep interpretation explainable

Every pattern retains its source, context and measurement window. Where evidence is incomplete, mixed or uncertain, the interpretation should say so. Confidence is part of the answer.

  7. 07

    Protect meaning and ownership

Client evidence remains client evidence. Imported sources keep their definition and context. New measurements add depth to that organization's own picture – without implying that one client's data becomes another client's advantage.

Instruments

Built and tested
with current, proven methods.

Borvena's instruments are grounded in an extensive evidence base and more than twenty years of leadership, team and organizational development.

Their purpose is to create dependable signals for interpretation, not labels that replace judgment.

Human oversight

Intelligence supports judgment.
It does not remove accountability.

Automated analysis can help organize evidence and detect relationships.

Human review remains responsible for context, interpretation, challenge and the consequences of action.

Evidence leaders can question is more useful than certainty they cannot inspect.

If your organization needs a rigorous read of a complex human pattern, begin with the question.

FAQ

Questions about the method

Does Borvena use validated methods?

Borvena's instruments are built and tested with current, proven methods and grounded in an extensive evidence base. The specific evidence design depends on the organizational question and intended use.

How does Borvena combine different sources?

Sources retain their meaning, context and time window. Borvena interprets relationships between them rather than treating unlike measures as interchangeable.

Does AI make the final interpretation?

No. Technology can support analysis, but human review remains responsible for context, challenge, interpretation and action.

How does Borvena show change?

A baseline is followed by relevant action, shorter pulse measurements and a later re-assessment. The pattern is read as a trajectory, not a single result.
